About

I graduated in 2015 as a PhD in Transportation Engineering at the Institute of Transportation Studies at University of California, Irvine, under the supervision of Prof. Recker.

My thesis, entitled Modeling Shared-use Urban Mobility Systems to Increase System Performance is about the modeling of the bike sharing rebalancing operations and Car2work, a new urban mobility concept to connect commuters to workplaces. My goal is to find solutions to urban mobility challenges and make life easier.

I also co-founded Kaleri a start-up that uses Beacon technology to connect Artist, Museums and Galleries with art lovers. I discovered the Bluetooth potential in a class project at UCI where we were monitoring traffic flows using Bluetooth antennas and pinging in vehicle Bluetooth devices.

In 2009, I graduated from the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyers Industrials i Aeronàutics de Terrassa (ETSEIAT) and I did an MSc in Transport Policy and Business Management at Loughborough University, UK in 2010.

I also worked as an Intern at ALSTOM transport, a rolling stock company manufacturer, from June 2008 to July 2009, managing the supplier panel and developing a tool to forecast suppliers’ workload.

I am passionate about soccer and I like cinema, traveling and discovering new cultures.
